Towlers Bay beach (BB 14) occupies the mouth of a small steep-sided south-facing valley, located in Towlers bay 6 km deep into Pittwater. Base of the bay has filled with sand forming a low grassy berm, fronted by the 10 m wide beach and intertidal sand flats extending 100 m into the bay. The beach is 60 m long with a small creek maintaining an opening at its eastern end. This is a popular beach sheltered from northeast winds, with larger boats moored off the sand flats and dinghies pulled up on the beachÂ
